The Philidelphia Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to tha Washington Redskins in exchange for a seconnd-round pick in this year's draft and either a third- or fourth- round pick in next year's draft. It has been public knowledge that the Eagles have been trying to ship their superstar quarterback out for about 2 weeks now in favor of Kevin Kolb. No one expected that he would be traded to a division rival. On tha trade, McNabb said "I'm really excited about my future with the Washington Redskins. I'm eager to work with Coach Shanahan. He's been a very successful coach with a couple of Super Bowl victories on his resume. While it has been my goal to win a Super Bowl in Philadelphia, we came up short. I enjoyed my 11 years, and know we shared a lot more good times than bad."
