Sports Stories That Deserve A ESPN "30 for 30" Movie

Slow day so I decided 2 do this 4 yall

Original Story by J. Tinsley (Some ideas were not mine but J.Tinsley's)

A few days ago, I saw a commercial about a ESPN "30 for 30" film about tha playing career of Allen Iverson (that I plan to watch). Being tha HUGE sports fan that I am, today I thought ran thru my mind about tha ESPN "30 for 30" sports documentary series. Here are some of them (along w/ a few ideas from J.Tinsley):

Barry is widely considered one of tha best running backs of all time (if not the best) From the Heisman at Oklahoma State to his legendary pro career, many still ask question like What if he hadn’t have retired when he did? What if he had actually played for a contender at some point? I think a lot of people would watch this, I know I would.

Sean Taylor was a great talent on tha field, but off it he was a wreck. From tha streets of Miami, Fl. Taylor grew up in a wild hood, but still made it to tha NFL. Once turning pro, Taylor was arrested on four different occasions. It was rumored that he was in tha mist of changing his life before he was tragically taken away from us (which is a shame).

Ken Griffey, Jr. & The 1990’s – By far, KG24 was one of the standout athletes from the ’90s. He was like the perfect baseball player. His defensive plays were equally as amazing as the swing he used to put so many baseballs in orbit. Griff even won a home run derby with his hat turned backwards one time. This was back in the ‘90’s when backwards hats were the thing, too. Like Barry Sanders, Griff was a quiet kid who never really caused controversy. This also means his story still isn’t truly appreciated by the masses. Painful memories still run rampant when you realize he probably would be considered the greatest player ever had it not been for injuries. On a lighter note, he does have the greatest line of sneakers for a baseball player.

LeBron James: The High School Years - Today, LeBron is considered tha best basketball player in tha world (I wouldn't argue against it). But what a lot of people 4got is that tha media attention surrounding James while still in high school was incredible (he's tha reason ESPN televises high school games). Besides from being one of tha best high schoolers in tha nation in 2003, James was also an all-state wide reciever on his school's football team. James admitted that he felt so much pressure to live up to everyone's expectations that he started to smoke weed. I would bet that King James has some very interesting stories about his high school days.

The Downfall of Maurice Clarrett – Once upon a time LeBron James wasn’t the only prodigy from Ohio. Teen phenom Maurice Clarett ran by, around and through every Big 10 defense en route to a national title. Life was good for the kid until he attempted to turn pro after his first two semesters. Those same praises which were being thrown his way disappeared and after he was released from the Broncos (he allegedly drank Grey Goose during practice), life went downhill. From college football’s peak to the state penitentiary. A true American nightmare.
